The Tivo Guide is Out

I’ve just received my author’s copies of Leo Laporte’s Guide to TiVo and I must humbly say it’s the best Tivo book ever. All credit to Gareth Branwyn who knocked himself out writing it, Rick Kughen, my editor at Que who polished it to a gleaming shine, and the guys at who gave us outstanding support all along the way.
Leo Laporte's Guide to Tivo

This is the book that should come with every Tivo sold.

  1. Yup, got the e-mail today from Amazon that my copies are on the way! Two down, two to go! 🙂

  2. I placed my order! Can’t wait to get my hands on it!!
How did I ever watch TV before TiVo?

  3. I wish I could get TiVo in Canada. I’ve got a PVR, but TiVo sure has a much nicer interface and some more cool options than what I have. Would be nice if Bell would partner up with them for ExpressVu.

  4. I don’t understand Amazon. No ETA?
Availability: This item has not yet been released. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives.

  5. Amazon really needs to update the Guide to TiVo page. It’s still showing “This item has not yet been released” and since I received my copies today I know that’s not true.
