End of Line

The party's over. After nearly ten years, four owners, well over 2000 live TV shows, lots of laughs, a few tears, and meeting many many wonderful people, my time at TechTV has come to an end.
I could tell so many stories about the talented, committed, hard working, and hard partying people I’ve worked with there. Each and every one of them will always have a special place in my life . It was with great sadness that I walked out the studio door for the last time last night.

The reasons for my leaving are complicated. As I posted here a few weeks ago, management and I had come to a very satisfactory agreement about a new work schedule and salary, but at the last minute TechTV’s outgoing owner, Vulcan Ventures, insisted that I sign away all claims against them regarding shares they had given me some years ago. I was unwilling to do so, and they held my job as hostage.

My leaving has nothing to do whatever with G4 or Comcast. In fact, I’m very sorry that I won’t be around to participate in the transition. I’ve already contacted G4 to let them know I’d be glad to continue working at the new channel once they take over and I hope that I’ll get that chance.

Fortunately I still have a great job at KFI, a sweet book contract with Que, this thriving web site, and many requests for speeches and other appearances. My family will not starve, and I will be keeping very busy no matter what happens.

Call for Help will continue on the air without me. George Crowe, Dan Mitchell, Fawn Luu, Roger Chang, Cat Schwartz, and Ian the new guy, whose last name I still can’t spell, are still there working their tails off to do the best show on TechTV for the least amount of money. Nicole Guilfoyle and Rich Miglozzi are still slaving away to make the web site the best resource ever. Steve Porter, Rob D’Arcy, Bill Coen, Josh Villegas, Raevon Armand, Deb Croback, Jon Martin, Greg Tremelling, Brett, Fatty Matty, David Chung, Jim Smith and the best studio crew in the world are still there keeping things running light without overbyte. Please keep watching.

For the second time in as many weeks I find myself saying goodbye. My spirits were buoyed with the hundreds of wonderful messages I got last week. It’s so gratifying to know that the work we’ve done has made such a big difference in so many people’s lives. With apologies to Lou Gehrig, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the Earth. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I won’t be on TV for a little while. But I do hope we’ll see each other again on the small screen some day. Until then, thanks for an incredible 10 years. I’ll miss you.

  1. I…wow. I’m speechless. Fortunately, I’m still able to type. I’ve been watching TechTV since almost the early days of ZDTV. I even won a t-shirt from the Screen Savers, which I still have! Ahhh, how fondly I remember the night when I heard Kate Botello say my name on live tv. I’ve watched Call For Help through Leo, Becky, Chris, and it came full circle with Leo again. After all the time I’ve spent watching the channel in general, and Leo in particular, this is almost like losing an old friend.
I hope that you can find your way back to us soon, and I’ll keep my eyes here a bit more than I have in the past.
    Best of luck, Leo.

  2. This is very sad news, I know I wouldn’t know a 10th of what I know about computers if it hadn’t been for Call for Help/The Screen Savers back on ZDTV, you made computers interesting and easy instead of dull and too hard to learn, you will be missed 🙁
Thanks for all you have done! (and will do in the future) 🙂

  3. Leo,
Man this is tough. You were the ONLY reason I watched TechTV. I remember the July day last summer, when my cable company switched around the channel lineup because they gave us a few new stations. TechTV was one of these new channels, and I was immediately hooked.
You inspired me to create a blog, a moblog, and become the biggest computer geek in town. I’m the one people come to with their computer questions. And, you know what, I hear your words coming out of my mouth when I give them the answer.
I unfortunately was never able to get through on the phone lines for C4H or TSS, but I’ll be calling up on your radio show today. Like I said before, you were the ONLY reason I watched TechTV. Whenever you were on vacation or took a sick day, and someone was guest hosting C4H and TSS, I didn’t even bother to tune in … and I won’t tune in now, knowing that you’re not there anymore.
I anxiously await the day when I turn on channel 63 and see your face again. Your antics and knowledge not only kept me informed, but also entertained. You made me a bona-fide computer geek … and I will be forever grateful.
Thanks again for the almost 10 months of laughs and memories. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. You touched lives on 2 shows nightly, Leo. And no one, not even Vulcan, can take that away from you.
    Good Luck

  4. My 8-year old son and I are both very disappointed to hear of your travails with Vulcan. We’ve taken Tech TV off the Tivo for now in protest.
As has been said here earlier, many children as well as adults have had their lives improved in significant ways by your efforts at Tech TV.
On the commercial side, you have influenced us in our buying deciisions numerous times, both for our home and my business. The three new Macs around our house which joined our formerly PC-only household are a tribute to your persuasiveness, although you never tried to sell us a Mac.
This can’t be good for Comcast either, as it tries to establish credibility for the new network and to encourage TV providers to devote some of their bandwidth to what has now become a network with no headliner.
We’ll be anxiously waiting to hear of your next television series. In the meantime, we wish you and those you love all the best.
    Nicholas Androulidakis and Son

  5. Leo,
I’ve watched The Screen Savers and Call For Help everyday since both shows premiered. I have watched The Screen Savers since you and Kate were hosting. I’ve watched Call For Help since you were in the old studio… I will sincerely miss your presence on both shows… especially the Screen Savers.

  6. Leo, I just discovered TechTV last May when Digital Cable finally came. I found that even being in the computer world for 40 some years there was a lot to learn, and you and TechTV were the teachers.
Best of luck, I know you will be back; somehow, someway, someday. The good always return!

  7. So many feelings… Just keep up your website and try to stay in contact with your “loyal” fans. As for watching techtv anymore.. I really only watched which ever show you were on and xplay. xplay is not enough to keep me around though.
Leo you are “The Show” so I’ll just be following you where ever you go. Please keep us informed.

  8. Hi Leo,
I check your blog every day and I was blown away to see this! I was really sad to see you leave The Screen Savers, but now you are leaving TechTV entirely! I really enjoyed you as host of Call For Help and co-host of The Screen Savers. I know you are a pretty busy man, and I hope this all works out to be a good thing for you. At least you’ll get a lot more time to spend with your family. Godspeed Leo!

  9. Leo,
As everyone here has posted, you will be greatly missed by your fans. You have brought such insight to all and made computing a fun thing. I am sure these good byes, changes, etc have to be hard on you and your family. Hang tough, enjoy life, and you know we all will be listening to you on the radio and checking out Lville continually.
    always the best,

  10. Sorry to hear about all this Leo. I started watching ZDTV quite some time ago. A lot of people have some and gone, but you’ve definately been a pillar of the success. There were times where it seemed like you were either hosting, or participating on, every show ZDTV was airing. I know there are a lot of us out there that have been a bit disappointed with the quality of TechTV as of late, especially since they seem to continually move away from tech’, and more towards mindless entertainment. Your leaving has removed much of the reason for a lot of us tuning in, even if we didn’t watch the channel as much as we use to.
Best of luck with everything. I doubt you’ll have trouble keeping busy, but perhaps it’s time for a little bit of a break. A man can only do so much before it’s time to relax and spend some time with family.

  11. Leo,
You are the only reason I watched TechTV, not only because you are an avid mac user, but because you were the best part of the screen savers. I guess its time i cancel my extended cable. Thats the only reason why I had it, was for TSS. Without you on there, I don’t think I would really watch it….
Best of luck in the future

  12. Pretty simple… if the new G4/TechTV wants to make it… they’ll get you back!
If not… I hope that you can continue on tv in another way. You connect with the viewer in a great way.
Best of luck & hope to see you soon on the new network.

  13. Leo,
You will certainly be missed at techtv. I first began watching about a year before the transition to techtv. The first show I can remember seeing was an old UGM, the last before kate left. Your personality and talents pulled me into the show. I enjoyed every minute of you on TSS. I was overjoyed to see TSS move out of the basement and to see CFH go thru many hosts, you being the best. I will continue to listen to your radio broadcasts although I’m way down in Georgia. You have certainly left a impression on how I think of computers. I hate to see you go but hope that you will come back to work at G4. Good luck in the future in all you do.

  14. I’m extremely disappointed to hear this news. I haven’t had the chance to watch TechTV lately, but I’ve been watching Leo for a good six years now. I really hated to hear that TechTV was merging with G4, being that I’m not a fan of G4, but now I couldn’t be happier. Hopefully Leo will find a place on the new channel. I think for those who would like to see him again should e-mail G4 and Comcast suggesting it.

  15. Leo, you will be missed…but I predict not for long! I got DirecTv a bit more than a year ago. Your television programs (and also the book) drew me to the channel and gave me the confidence to start taking apart computers and learning how to build and maintian my own. I’m nowhere near proficient, so your leaving TechTv makes me a very dangerous man to CPU’s owned by my family and friends!
Thank you for being the broadcast pro you are. You draw people in to learn and encourage with your positive attitude. We’ll see you on the airwaves soon! And, I’ll look forward to your radio show via the net.

  16. Who knew what an impact a friendly guy on t.v would have. A man who’s enthusiasm and interest was unbridled as well as infectious. A guy who was like the uncle you’d love to have or the neighbor you’d love to be friends with or just watch thru the blinds;). And a man who treated beginners as well as old done-its with the same respect. Well I am happy that I got to share in the Leo experience, and I’m sure it won’t be long before his smiling, dancing self will be back on tv before long and if he chooses to put his talents forward in other venues, books, radio etc, then all the power to him. Not alot of men who work that hard can still find time to be great guys. So thank-you Leo for sharing with all of us admirers and fans, it seems it meant more than alot of us were expecting 🙂 Good luck and virtual hugs!

  17. Wow – to say the least I am shocked and disapointed that you wont be on techtv – I was watching my favorite show “the screen savers” after work as I normally do – i saw you less and less and began wondering what was going on. It wont be the same without you – as a fellow mac user i believe the mac users related to you… Hopefully you will be back on tv soon you are an phenominal presence.
thanks for all the memories leo

  18. Wow…. gone from ZDTv, to TechTV watching Call for Help and Screen Savers.. and many other bits here and there… its going to be a totally different feel now. Kinda strange that I’m watching right now one of the last shows recorded 🙁

  19. I have never called TechTV or posted on their site. Yet week after week for the last few years since I had learned about TechTV, I have watched Screen Savers and Call for help religiously.
The main reason for watching the station has been Leo. Sure I like Patrick and a few of the others, but the heart and Soul of that station in my mind is Leo. You sir, brough not only knowledge to the shows, but humor. You made the shows incredibly enjoyable to watch.
TechTV made a huge mistake. And I will bet the farm that they will soon regret it.
    All the best Mr. Laporte,

  20. A tear rolls down my face as i read this. Leo you are the reasion that i love tech as much as i do. you are the reasion that i have chosen to move to S.F. right out of high school and try to be one of the crew at techtv. We will all miss you so much leo. Hope we will see you somtine in the furture
Thanks for all the GREAT times!!!

  21. Leo,
Just wanted you to know that you also have a very very large international fanbase that have been watching you everyday on TechTV International. I’m proud to say that I am one of them. Will miss your unique twist to explaining even the simplest of things. And your “crackpot” sense of humor. 🙂
And to all the other viewers of TechTV. Dont stop watching Patrick, Kevin, Sarah, Dan, Cat and Roger on your favourite shows everyday to keep their ratings high now and after the G4 merger so that if Leo chooses there will be something for him to come back to on the new network.
    Best of luck,

  22. Leo I am So Despress right now. Right now I am going through so major Laporte withdraw from TTV.
I am still scratching my head why, Valcan Ventures would hold your job hostage at the last minute like that. Leo if it was not for you, TTV will would not be what it is today. You are the Pillar of the network and foundation of the geek programming on the network. This a truely a sad in TTV History. Because of your sudden departure this marks The Beginning of the end of one the greatest channel on earth. I will miss seeing your great charms and witty and great wisdom of technology from TTV Digital airwaves. Over the last six years I have learned so much from you, From Linux, to OS X, Fixing, upgrading PCs, Consumers electronics, Cell phones, and getting the most of my Personal Comfuser. And how I could forget of all of your great interviews did over the last six years on The Screen Savers!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Leo thanks again for great work. on TSS and CFH. Because of efforts really made it possibly for us geeks finally channel devoted to are needs. I only wish you the best in luck in your further endeavors and hopefully in the near future I am looking forward for return your return the airwaves on the new Comcast G4/TTV channel. Until than I will look forward in listing to your weekend radio show on KFI 640.
And Remember Leo no one walks in LA. And Thanks again for the great geeks memories from The Site to ZDTV, TTV and KFI AM 640 radio.
    john riopel

  23. Well, I can honestly say that I have no interest in watching Tech TV like I used to. Oh, I will still watch it but with a bit of sadness that Leo is not there Hosting The Screen Savers or Call for Help. I have watched Leo help so many with his insight for the other people that have the same issues. What I mean is, Leo has a way to include everyone with one persons question. Even if I thought I knew the answer, he still enlightened me to more information.
Leo, I do hope you return. I can’t imagine Patrick doing The Screen Savers without you. No slam on the Dark Tipper but come on, Leo and Patrick made that show.
Anything we can do to get you to come back? Please.
The Inman fameily in Salem Ore.

  24. It just won’t be the same without you , Leo.
I’ve learned so much from you and you presense will be greatly missed.
I hope that G4 and Comcast will realize how much they need you there for them to be successful.’
Hope to have you back on my screen soon!!!

  25. If it weren’t for you Leo, I would not have got back into computers years ago and achieved the jobs I have. You have become part of the family and this is sad. I thank you for your hard dedicated work and wish you luck in the future.
I just pulled my cable, no reason for me to pay for one show a day any longer. I don’t expect a money hungry corporate to understand what the audience really wants (Modding, Overclocking, tweaking, Linux..etc.
It’s all Net from here on.. nothing on TV anyways.
    *Here’s to Leo and Kate*!
    ZD ruled!~~~

  26. Way to stick to your guns Leo. Vulcan doesn’t know what they’ve lost. We can only hope that ComCast will right this wrong – and very soon – a few hours on weekend radio just isn’t enough for your fans.

  27. Leo, I will really miss you, your knowledge and your humor, you made The Screen Savers and Call For Help. They will truly never be the same without you. God Bless you on your new ventures.

  28. Wow..I already thought it was horrible when you left TSS, but now Tech TV too! Tech TV won’t be the same without you. They’ll realize it once the ratings start to go down. I sincerely hope that you and G4 can work something out, just wouldn’t be right not seeing you on TV. You are one of the biggest reasons why I watched TTV, and you are probably the biggest responsibility for the spark that got me wanting to learn Linux! LOL! It really will be sad not to see you on Call for Help and your tips on TSS. You are one of the biggest reasons I plan on pursuing a career in the technology field.
See ya around Leo. Good luck with whatever comes your way!

  29. Leo,
I have been saying for years that you are carrying the whole network on your shoulders. You are the man! It never ceases to amaze me, all across this country, in every possible working environment, the absolute incompetence of managers who must use a dartboard to make decisions. What a bunch of morons.
I look forward to seeing you back on the air really soon, hopefully with a very fat wallet.
Good luck Leo and thanx for all the great years and the tons of great info you have shared with us, your unsilent audience.

  30. Leo,
I just can’t beleive it!!!. You are the greatest Tech Host, I’m sure you’ll be back in TV in a New York second.
Here in Mexico City we had to manage things to receive the signal since nobody is carring it, but with the “Old Big Dish” and the feed in the clear, this was a no-brainer. But away goes my only excuse for having a 5 meter plate up in my roof. I’m going to through it away and buy the Replay Radio software so I can catch your audio show at KFI.
Thanks again for the great moments you gave us all!!!!
    Carlos Roberts

  31. Very sad to see you go… If I have learned anything in todays corporate climate it is that anything truly good will get changed – so enjoy it while you can. I certainly enjoyed and benefitted from your work at TechTV. Thank You – jory

  32. Leo, I have been watching you on tv for many years, and in all honesty I do not think that it will be the same without you. There is something about your attitude and presence that drew me in, and kept me tuning in day after day. I hope nothing but the best, and hope to see you back on tv as soon as possible.

  33. Leo, This really is sad news for me, as you are the only reason I watched any of the shows. I am around your age and I felt like you were talking to just me when you talked. I have been trying to watch the others but can’t relate to any of them. So I hope to see you somewhere on tv soon. I live in Michigan so I can only listen on the web and continue to view your blog. Spend as much time as you can with your family and enjoy your up coming trip!!! Cheryl

  34. maybe you ought to start a cult to make up for the tv shows… that’d be kinda cool… (i wanna join a cult. i’d be all over that.) we could chant in scripts and things. huh… of course, you’d probably make us all buy macs or something. i’d haffta raise some money to prove my alligence to you… but hey. it’d be worth it. i’m willing to swtich to photo shop for ya. 😀 plus, you could turn it into a religion and get tax breaks…

  35. Leo’s one big cat who will definitely land on his feet.
You’ve always been the best reason to watch TechTV. (someone has to keep those kids in line)
If G4 doesn’t line you up with some show they’ll be making a huge mistake.
    Best of luck!

  36. An open letter to Leo Laporte.
    Dear Leo,
One day I hope to tell you in person how grateful I am for you and for the five years that I have been watching and learning from you. I would not be the person I am today without it. You have been as a mentor to me and you were the one who inspired me to pursue a tech lifestyle.
I first started watching you back in early 1999, when it was still ZDTV. Until 2002 your channel was not carried by our cable company, so I would watch 1 week old replays on free (UHF!) TV every single day. I was 14 then. Every day, I would sit down and watch CFH over lunch with my mom. I barely knew anything about computers or technology a the time. The only computers I used were really old. We didn’t even have internet access. I would go to internet cafes just to check my email.
Turning on the tv and seeing you there became like seeing a good friend over coffee. The coversation was always engaging and I would always walk away knowing a little more. Moreover, it was as if you were concerned about me personally. After a couple of weeks, I was having such a blast, I started watching TSS even though I could hardly understand it at the time.
I remember the MacWorld Mac Tip of the Day. I remember when DialPad was still free and you did a CFH segment on it where you called your mom. I remember the TSS basement. I remember the first UGM. I remember taking the SuperGeek Challenges. I even remember Martin’s first episode. I remember Kate, the Dish, and the dancing at the end of every episode… I remember her last episode. I was sad then, and I am even more now.
You’ve said many times that if someone watched the show for just three weeks then that person would be the one who all their friends would be calling for help. Well, in no time that happened to me. More than learning solutions to specific problems, you have taught me how to diagnose problems and come up with solutions. In this way, I think that you have helped more people than you are aware of because you’ve helped me help people for five years.
Today, I am nineteen years old and I have never been to college, never taken so much as a vocational course. All I have is an hour a day of Call for Help and The ScreenSavers, respectively. However, I am now a graphic designer. I work for a publishing company where I layout and do the art for three major monthly publications. I also make graphics for TV shows and government newspaper ads, and do all of the front end work for an award-winning website with thousands of members that my brother and I have been running for over a year ( http://www.genrev.net ). Today, I answer for several computers now, including two Macs running Panther (G5), and three Windows P4s, among others. A Professional School of a major university here in Manila has called me in on several occasions to test their new power line network system from Japan and I am supposed to start teaching a small class on basic computing, graphic art and web design within the next month. On top of all of this, I still continue to get at least two or more of my very own “Calls for Help” every day.
I don’t know if you realize that you’ve made such a profound change in peoples’ lives, I say that because I am sure that i am not the only one with a story like this. There are probably hundreds.
And so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, Leo. God has used you in an amazing way in my life and you are always in my prayers. I hope to see you on TV again soon, hopefully after the merger.

  37. I’m cancelling digital cable! The only reason I had digital cable was for TechTV. The only reason I wateched TechTV was to see Leo. Therefore, I can cancel it now!
Dude, you’re an inspiration. I am listening to you now on KFI on the east coast. I look forward to seeing you on TV again.

  38. Just like the vast majority here, I have watched you since the old ZDTV days back when it was just you and Kate hosting TSS. And now that I have read this news, I am appalled. You and X-Play were the only real reasons I watched TechTV at all, and now that is no longer enough. I am beyond satisfied with the figuring that G4 is going to get you back after the buyout. Vulcan has made a huge mistake, but that comes as no surprise when that is what they are becoming infamous for anyway. When I switched to cable from my satellite dish, I made sure they carried TechTV beforehand.
I loved your shows, and your spirit. And I have no doubt you will be back on G4TV when the merger is complete. Don’t consider this an end, but a new beginning. Just as others have stated, TechTV has lost another regular viewer. But again, that is something they should be getting used to by now. I will continue to follow you through this site, and your radio show. I’d say God bless you normally, but seems to me he already has. 🙂

  39. I have watched you since vd tv days, I guess ever since it started. It was on the C dish in those days. Anyhow the show will not be the same ever again. you had a way of holding peoples interest that most dont have This is avery special gift. It is not learned. I will miss you Leo and god bless in your next endeavor, as I know you will be alright whatever you undertake
    Thank you, RAY

  40. Hi Leo,
sorry to hear the bad news.
I first caught the channel by accident on the preview station and I’ve watched ever since. At first I couldn’t tell there were two shows because you were on both of them. When I finally figured it out I watched them both. Many people at the station convinced me to watch but it was you that drew me in.
You’ve been a fixture in my living room for many years and you’re welcome to visit for real any time you want. You can’t beat our beaches or the weather. since I live in florida I’ve often thought it would be nice to exchange vacations with one of you, but schedules are too hard to match especially mine since it constantly changes. everyone from the show is welcome though just not all together. anyway I wish the best of luck to your family and everyone during this very stressful time. If you don’t return to the station or I somehow lose the channel in the transition you and the rest of the guys will be sorely missed.

  41. TTV was the coolest when it was 90 minutes of Geek heaven. You were the man who guided me, helped me, and stood for everything that was great about TTV.
Still I am stunned, and can not imagine this channel with out you. Good luck Leo,I will keep you and your in my prayers. WAKE UP G4, get our Leo back.

  42. Leo was like the best part of TechTV!
Maybe we could petiton him back or something
Perhaps someone’s already tried that… well hopefully it works
I’ll miss you Leo, I hope to see you on some new channel, or even back on TechTV.
Watching The Screen Savers isn’t the same without you there!
    Good luck in the future!
    – Paul

  43. What a shock to get this email that you are leaving CFH. Made a tear come to my eye.I know the others on that show do there best but there will never be anyone who can get apoint across, make me understand a tech problem like you Leo.Right now im un sure as to what ill watch. It just will not be the same. Ive watched you since Z tv. an have learned so much about computering.
What ever happens All The Best To You LEO.
    Connie from PA

  44. How sad and stupid on Vulcan’s part. It seems that they don’t care how the public perceives them (in a bad light). In a happy note, I’ve been enjoying the KFI show tremendously, and hope you’ll consider national syndication or distribution via XM or Sirius. Here’s to your good work, Leo.

  45. leo,
you and you alone are techtv. you inspire so many people, you inspired me to build my own computer, which im proud to say im using at this moment 🙂 i even won a techtv t shirt. but all in all, watching techtv simply will not be the same. i feel as if ive lost my best friend. you will be missed very much. i hope in the near future you will be able to return to television. you are brilliant, i thank you so much for all you have done.

  46. I’m one Canadian that will not be watching TechTV anymore. Leo made “The Screen Savers” and “Call for Help” what they are, they will not be the same. I will continue to listen to Leo on KFI, and hope to see him soon on the TV, in Canada!

  47. I think I have watched religiously since the first show in 1998. Sometimes magic happens on commercial TV! From the start, I always knew and feared that this day would come. Commercial TV has a habit of firing their best talent. It’s like when movie studios screw up a movie release and people say: “They didn’t know what they had!” Anyway, maybe G has a clue, and Leo will return in May, but maybe not. Well, I guess I’ll accelerate my hunt for the streaming audio of KFI. Maybe some day, the technology will improve to the point where these distributors can be eliminated! We can hope.

  48. You will be very, very much missed. You helped me overcome my drepitation of learning to use computers after being away from them for quite a few years (15!). You made learning easy and fun which is the best way to learn anything. Hopefully you’ll be “back in the saddle” again soon.

  49. GREED!!!! It’s worst than drugs! Where is your loyalty Mr. Allen.
Leo single handly made that network, like it or not. He,always, gave his all. STICK TO YOUR GUNS…..Leo. I know such a talent, as Leo Leporte, won’t last long on the chopping block! ComCast don’t be stupid, step-in and put this mess to a rest. It’s in your best intrest!
    Matt K.

  50. The main reason I have digital cable is TechTV.
Besides the inclusion of that Wired for Sex, and
the how-to-hack segments, your leaving is just
another reason to save the $40 and drop digital
and TechTV. The spark is almost out, and when they
do that to Patric Norton (sp?) the last ember will
have gone cold. Love your radio show! (If you would
want to do that bit-pass thing, I’d buy your show.)
